First stage

Remove the film after 3-4 hours after the tattoo. Wash your hands very well and wash your tattoo with neutral glycerin soap for 30 seconds, until you feel that there is no more plasma/ink/blood left on the tattoo.

*If we use Saniderm (dermal patch)... leave the patch on for as long as indicated (you can leave it up to 6 days). Once you remove it clean your tattoo with neutral glycerin soap. Make sure there are no traces of soap and dry with absorbent paper (not towel).

During this first stage you will not use cream.

Second stage

The second stage starts the morning after you remove the film or Saniderm, and involves applying a thin layer of post-tattoo cream over your clean tattoo. It is important to wash your tattoo before applying the cream, especially the first few days when the 'wound' is more recent.

Avoid excess cream (the tattoo should not be white covered in cream but just shiny). Over-hydration can cause your tattoo to become irritated. Repeat this process 3-4 times a day for the next 20-30 days.

After a few days, the tattoo will begin to scab, peel, and become itchy. This is totally normal. Don´t rub it! Most tattoos heal in 2-4 weeks.

During the process

Do not remove the scab that appears. It has to come out on its own! It is normal for the tattoo to be a little itchy. Don't scratch it! And avoid friction and scrapes.

The tattoo should not come into contact with sea, river, bathtub or pool water for the first 15 days.

Avoid contact with smoke, pets, perfumes and deodorants as they can irritate your skin.

Try not to get shampoo on your tattoo for the first few days.

Do not do excercise or sports for the first 7-10 days.

The first month, the tattoo should not be exposed to the sun. All pigments are photosensitive and with the sun will decrease in intensity, so I recommend the use of sun cream +50 (once the 30 days have passed) whenever you are going to expose your tattoo to the sun. This will help the tattoo age well.

If you do develop a rash around the tattoo, you may be over-hydrating it. Remember that it has to be a super thin layer of cream.
